The Journey

As a six-year old i spent my days pulling nails and learning the physics of leverage alongside my dad and bothers. Work and play blended together as we built, restored and created. By the time i was 15 i had built my first shed. I played soccer in youth was on the international soccer team playing with 200 countries in Amsterdam and England the same year. By adulthood i worked at mastering custom home builds & restorations. learning welding and blacksmithing and home building - all while raising my son as a single mother and studying art in college. 

Art has remained a constant thread in my life. While studying, I immersed myself in sculpture, painting and design. I sang in a band, recorded five albums. met with Jennifer Granholm when she was promoting cool cities, my son at 7years old and i were able to have fancy treats with a crowd of amazing artist & the 1st women Gov. of Mi! All while balancing college feildtrips with elementary feildtrips band practice while coaching my sons soccer practice. He was part of everything- his world was filled with creativity and discovery!

Despite my hands-on skills, i faced one of my greatest challenges: technology. Computers had never been a very big part of my life. I refused to let that stop me . I dove in learning graphic design, web design, and web development, determined to build something of my own. Over the last four years, I've taught myself everything i needed to launch ArtistDione.org my clothing and home goods brand.

This is more than just a business. its a culmination of art, craftsmanship and dedication. I've spent a lifetime studying color, pattern understanding how colors affect emotions and energy. Every piece i create- whether clothing or home decor- is designed to make you feel radiant, confident, and alive.

I am an artist, sculptor, blacksmith, carpenter, mother, daughter, aunt, sister, and best friend :) Every Piece in ArtistDione carries a story, and intention. I hope you wear and live with my designs knowing that someone, somewhere has poured LOVE crafts-womenship, and purpose into them.
